Millicent Mabi

I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois School of Information Sciences at Urbana-Champaign.

My research examines the intersection of information and immigration and my work draws on intersectional and interdisciplinary research, theories and methods to promote immigrant settlement.

My primary areas of interest include Human Information Behaviour; Africans at Home and in Diaspora; Information Practices of Underserved Populations; Immigration and Settlement; Information Poverty; Community Engagement; and Library and Information Services.
